The second to last U-Pick Saturday this season! Time to stock up for the year. Get your onion, garlic, and potatoes. They store for a long time. We have been making a lot of tomato sauce with our heirloom tomatoes. They make for delicious sauce. We’ll be making red salsa next with them and green salsa with the tomatillo. Time to get some of those basils and garlic for pesto too. We freeze the pesto in ice cube trays, then use them in the winter for a boost of fresh basil flavor.
